EU-project INNOLABS engaged over 130 companies from across Europe in its accelerator program and is bringing its most promising innovators together in Oslo to a final show and competition for 50k€ worth of prizes.
The INNOLABS Project is coordinated by Norway Health Tech and run in collaboration with 7 other partners from across Europe. The project unlocked the cross-sectoral collaborative potential of SMEs by combining ICT with the BIO, Health, and Medicine sectors to deliver disruptive technologies and applying such results to personalized health especially for elderly populations.
Over the past 3 years, it has supported over 130 SMEs with over €4 million worth of grants, innovation services and prizes, awarded in a variety of competitions. There was impressive engagement from the SMEs supported and great added value created.
This amazing journey now culminates into a showcase of the best 21 of the supported SMEs in a final pitch competition. The event will also introduce to the world the INNOLABS White Book – a solid review of the e-health market and best practices on how to accelerate towards it, fruit of all the experiences gathered throughout the project, stakeholder interviews and a thorough analysis of the market dynamics and specificities.
With this premise, European Commission officials will join the INNOLABS Final Project event to discuss the sustainability of such acceleration support being delivered to innovative healthcare SMEs both by Clusters and by the upcoming EU funding program, Horizon Europe.
The INNOLABS Final Event takes place in tandem with The Healthcare Demo Day (19th of September in Oslo) providing an amazing gathering of the most talented SMEs bringing innovation to the healthcare market – check further info here.
